Sandra Diaz does expert alterations of wedding gowns and evening wear, as well as custom design. Her clientele includes the entire USA.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Sandra studied French couture/design in Manhattan over a period of four years at the prestigious Maison Sapho School of Dressmaking and Design.
She also took lessons for approximately two years in sample making and industrial pattern making at GIDC (Garment Industry Development Center) in Manhattan.
While in school she took hands-on internships as a pattern maker and seamstress in the NYC garment industry, as well as working as a quality assurance specialist for NY & Company. She also worked for Jill Sanders in the finance department doing charge backs. Her first job in the technical field of alterations after finishing school and her internships was for David’s Bridal, followed by positions in other small bridal salons as a fitter and alterations specialist in NYC, including Kleinfeld’s

Sandra started her business from a basement apartment in approximately 2010 in Midwood, Brooklyn, then moved her business into office space to Summit, New Jersey in 2014. Two years later she moved her business into a store front in Summit where she is now and has established her business over the last nine years.
