The step-by-step instructions are easy to understand, and the incredibly detailed accompanying diagrams demystify creating a custom pattern from a shirt. You can read the text, but you may not fully comprehend the wisdom in this book until you are following the instructions to reproduce a shirt. This book has taught me more about how shirts are constructed than any other book in my sewing library. Moreover, the process Laurel documented is phenomenal and will give you the skills to confidently create and adjust a pattern to achieve a perfect fit. I wish I had found this resource sooner! -
