Late Spring, 2007:
Has surpassed my expectations. I am looking forward to the Blouse/Jacket course in the fall. Laurel's ability to work with people who have varying degrees of experience is a rare talent. Laurel's informal style is wonderful. I never felt intimidated with the new concepts she is teaching. She makes you believe you can do anything. Can't wait to take more of Laurel's courses.
Excellent class. Well organized, great demonstrations .Excellent teaching, use of materials and resources, etc. I enjoyed/learned all the aspects of how to improve and make clothing construction easier.
Everything was wonderful. The most significant thing I learned was how to sew zippers, pockets, hems. LOVED IT ALL.
Laurel is full of knowledge about sewing. Instead of just learning how to cut and sew thing like zippers & pockets, we learned why and in what types of situations they can be used. Programs like this are great if you work full-time and have the desire to learn.
I was very happy with what I learned. The teaching was very clear. She did a great job showing the class how to do it. Taking this class will greatly improve what I make.
Laurel is always accessible, extremely knowledgeable and patient. The strengths of the course were Laurel and her textbooks. Love this program. Thank you, Laurel!
